I’m Jenny, an Account Manager here at South by Sea! I recently graduated from Eastern Washington University in June with my degree in Communications and PR. I’ve lived in the Seattle area my entire life (besides college), and don’t ever plan on leaving the PNW! A few random facts about me: I have an unhealthy obsession with Taco Bell, mimosas and Disneyland, I fell off a rope swing in 8th grade and fractured my spine, I play the ukulele but am a terrible singer, and I’m gluten free (but try not to be too annoying about it).
When I was in college, back in the good ole days, I was the VP of Recruitment for Alpha Phi, so I get really excited helping out with Bid Day and Recruitment orders in the Fall! Before South by Sea, I had a very random collection of jobs on my resume. I’ve worked as a waitress in a retirement home, a bra specialist at Victoria’s Secret, a campus rep for Monster Energy, a wedding planning intern, and a Beer Cart Girl on a golf course in Redmond, WA. And I’m very happy that I finally found my way to South by Sea last August! My favorite thing about working for such an awesome company is the connection that we all have in the office. I’ve never worked for a company where all of the employees are genuinely friends! We do a lot of bonding around here; including, but not limited to, Mariner’s baseball games, endless happy hours, Chick-Fil-A runs, Seattle bar crawls, Seahawks Blue Fridays, and being stuck on a Grey Hound bus for 6 hours to our surprise over-night Christmas party in the mountains. I love being able to re-live college and Greek life through all of the Campus Managers and Chapter Reps that I work with! And I'm more than happy helping out to find the perfect design for your events!
